The Smart Flex shavings production facility was established in 2022 in Adana, Turkey, as a special project. In response to the growing evidence in the equestrian sports world that dust and spores in stables are a primary cause of respiratory diseases in horses, we started producing Smart Flex shavings in the Adana Organized Industrial Zone.

In our own research, we discovered that low-quality shavings are one of the main sources of airborne dust and spores, and that good bedding can help reduce your horse’s respiratory risks as well as many other health threats.

Thus, we established our factory and began producing Smart Flex very carefully from 100% pine wood.

Today, our factory produces 20,000 Smart Flex units per month, and our branded bags are available through our suppliers.

The quality of the bedding you use in your horse’s stable has a fundamental impact on every aspect of your horse’s health. The best bedding helps protect respiratory and hoof health, supports the joints, promotes rest, and enhances both mental and physical comfort.

We produce our shavings from fresh pine wood sustainably and under controlled conditions, sourced from forests in Turkey. Our shavings are made from pine wood with unique natural antibacterial properties, helping keep your stable hygienic and your horse healthy.

During production, we filter out and vacuum every airborne dust particle we can capture. However, it is physically impossible to ensure that our shavings are completely free of dust particles at every stage of their lifecycle. Smart Flex has the lowest dust content on the market, and we continue to strive for perfection!

All the dust we remove from our shavings is used in pellet fuel production.
